Our very first First Monday Makeshop features guest watercolor artist Kathy Albright, who will lead an introductory lesson on watercolor supplies, and ten basic techniques to help us get a good start to watercolor painting. 

Kathy is a dedicated, multi-talented, volunteer and board member for The Art Room.  After retiring from a successful career in corporate advertising design and creative leadership, Kathy returned to her love of watercolor painting.  Inspired by nature, her favorite subjects are flora and fauna.  Kathy's work has been exhibited in juried exhibitions with the Southwestern Watercolor Society (Dallas), Society of Watercolor Artists (Ft. Worth), and the Visual Society of Texas (Denton).  In 2023, Kathy earned signature status level with the Society of Watercolor Artists (SWA, Ft. Worth).
