For this class you will need:

• Watercolor paper, mounted with tape on a board (suggested: 140lbs, 9”x 12”)

• Watercolors

• Brushes; a 1” brush for large areas

• Round brush, small and medium 

• Flat brush, for details

• 2 clean water containers

• Optional: Sponges, wipe cloth, white gel pen

• Not Optional: Your imagination and a positive attitude!

If you need any supplies let us know, we have watercolor paper available in The Art Room. Please let us know if you need anything else, such as watercolor paints. 

The Art Room is open from 9:00 AM-6:00PM Monday through Thursday if you need to pick up supplies. 

It is suggested that you prepare your drawing before class, even adding a light wash of color and background, so that it will be dry before we start today’s painting. There are 2 examples to follow below if you need them, they are a photo and painting of the same creek bed.
