In this class, we will look at how innate personal characteristics are influenced by the outside world and internal convictions. Through this process, we will artistically represent the dichotomy of nature and nurture that we all experience.

Materials you will need:

-       a piece of cardstock, printer paper, or even thin cardboard

-       scissors and glue

-       a medium of your choice: pencil, pen, paint, charcoal, pastel, markers, etc. 

-       magazine or printed pictures of similarly sized faces with expressions that are meaningful to you (optional)

-       a reference image of yourself facing the camera/audience
